BMS Systems

System Integration and Oversight
Coordinating the integration of BMS with various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, fire alarms, and access control, to centralize monitoring and control.

Overseeing the overall operation of the BMS to ensure seamless interaction between subsystems and optimize building performance.

Energy Management and Efficiency
Implementing energy optimization strategies through the BMS, such as scheduling HVAC and lighting based on occupancy, utilizing demand response, and monitoring energy usage to identify and address inefficiencies.

Analyzing and suggesting changes based upon data collected by the BMS to improve energy performance and support sustainability initiatives.

Fault Detection and Diagnostics
Utilising BMS capabilities for fault detection to identify inefficiencies, equipment malfunctions, or abnormal operation within building systems.

Implementing diagnostic processes to investigate and resolve issues discovered through BMS alerts and data analysis, contributing to improved system reliability and occupant comfort.

Remote Monitoring and Control
Leveraging remote access features of the BMS to monitor and adjust building systems from a centralized or mobile platform, providing the flexibility to address issues and make real-time adjustments without physical presence on-site.

Establishing protocols for secure remote access to the BMS, including authentication and encryption measures to protect system integrity.

Alarm and Reporting
Reacting to BMS alerts, engaging with facility management staff to critical system faults, abnormal conditions, or performance deviations that require immediate attention.

Generating regular reports and data analytics from the BMS to assess system performance, track trends, and guide decision-making for ongoing improvements.

Maintenance and System Upgrades
Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules for BMS components, including sensors, controllers, communication networks, and software updates.

Evaluating and implementing system upgrades and enhancements to capitalise on new functionalities, improved performance, and cybersecurity advancements.

Training and User Support
Providing training to facility staff and operators on the operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of the BMS, ensuring that users can effectively utilize the system's capabilities. Offering ongoing technical support and guidance to building occupants and staff regarding the BMS interface, features, and impact on building operations.

Supplier Management

Managing relationships with BMS installers, service providers, and contractors to secure timely support, maintenance, and upgrades. Establishing service level agreements and warranties to define maintenance responsibilities, response times, and system performance expectations.
